St. Johann / Alpendorf
Discover one of the region’s largest and most beautiful winter sport regions during your ski holidays. Reach St. Johann / Alpendorf, your direct access to the wide Ski amadé region, in no time with the free ski bus. 120 km of excellently groomed slopes of all difficulties, connected perfectly with 45 lifts, await you in the ski region of Snow Space Salzburg. Freestyle and action fans get their money’s worth in the Snowpark Alpendorf, while beginners and families will cherish the small but nice ski region of Hahnbaum in central St. Johann with its quiet seven kilometres of neat slopes.

The Raurisertal ski region is a bit smaller with 32.5 km of slopes, but certainly shouldn’t be overlooked. Having received multiple awards in recent years, the winter sports region with its similarly high-quality lifts and cable cars has down-to-earth charm at up to 2,175 m above sea level. Families enjoy the peace and quiet on flat slopes, deep-snow riders hit the open terrain, and the view of the National Park Hohe Tauern mountain range never ceases to amaze. Furthermore, there’s fun sledding and tobogganing action for adventurers of all ages around the children’s ski schools.

Beginners in particular love a trip to Skischaukel Großarltal-Dorfgastein during a Salzburg Ski Terrace ski holiday. The 73 kilometres of slopes consist of mainly easy and medium downhills. The early-morning trips are a particular highlight: Skiing at sunrise from 7.15 am at up to 2,027 m above sea level is offered for up to 25 persons with reservation in advance. But there’s also a lot happening beyond the slopes: The top-notch cross-country skiing options are quite something. Furthermore, you can enjoy direct access to many other amazing winter sport regions in the wide Gastein Valley.

Zell am See-Kaprun
Go on a trip to Zell am See-Kaprun and discover a whopping three ski regions at once! The glacial ski region of Kitzsteinhorn opens as early as October. Altitudes exceeding 3,000 m offer 100% snow reliability as far as into early summer. Numerous slopes aside, you might want to give the snow parks and ski touring routes a shot. Schmitten offers a neat mix of easy beginners’ slopes and genuine challenges for pros. The view is truly breath-taking.
