Goldegg, Village Square
Alexander Maurer, Alexander Neubauer, Stefan Prommegger and Matthias Schorn: a highly musical-musical quartet in which each masters clarinet and button harmonica, mixing bass clarinet, basset horn, percussion and voice.
Classical, jazz, folk music, pop: the four musicians from Salzburg and Styria (self-definition: musicians from passion) have no fear of contact. Critics and listeners alike get into a frenzy: a “flirt with the history of music that couldn’t be more stimulating.”
With their ingenious music melange, wrinkle radio inspires. With their clarinets they play in renowned orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic. But secretly, their great love goes to the wrinkle radios, as they call their accordions.
