If you prefer being outside in the open natural surroundings on a rock face and want to get closer to the skies above, then we are the place for you. Oberuntersberg climbing crag provides all climbing enthusiasts and those who would like to become just that, a real adventure. The climbing crab was upgraded a few years ago to provide climbing bolts and features around 30 routes, ranging from difficulty levels of 4 to 9. Each route is labelled by name and difficulty level.

The mountains in Salzburger Land are a source of inspiration and quite often are the model for artistic endeavours. For 40 years artists and painters have been making the pilgrimage to Goldegg and are part of the painting academy. Paintings, drawings, photography and animation – the painting academy in Goldegg Castle is inspiring, with a well-balanced course programme for beginners and those at an advanced level.
