The Der Seehof hotel and restaurant with a view of Lake Goldegg is a dreamlike mixture of an art house and culinary treasure.
Sepp Schellhorn and his team spoil the guests with a two-toque gourmet menu. The ingredients for this are all sourced within 120 km. Bread is baked in the wood-fired oven in front of the house and the herbs are picked from the hotel’s own garden.
Culinary delights have a long tradition in the Schellhorn family, with a family cookbook by Karola, Sepp and Felix published in 2018.
Three generations of Schellhorns have worked to serve guests. The kitchen is currently led by Sepp Schellhorn. A five-course menu is served daily in the restaurant. The Schellhorn kitchen combines tradition with modernity.
