On a total of 3.5 km, proceed from Filz to the turning point at ‘Lärchenwald’, then back again. This easy to moderately difficult trail also features a 5 km skating track, of which around 2.5 km is floodlit.
Consistently increase the intensity of cross-country – from very easy to moderately difficult. This 1.5 km route proceeds from the kindergarten in St. Veit via Mühlbergbauer and the Donauer Wiese to the Hotel Sonnhof.
Prefer things to be a little more challenging? From the kindergarten, head down from the town of Pichl on the path to the Feldmoarbauern, then back again to the starting point.
Golf is not a winter sport, so during the cold season, the 2.2 km Franz Schellhorn trail proceeds around the golf facilities. Even beginners feel great on this practically flat course.

Cross-country in Pongau for real professionals: 13.8 km, 270 metres ascent and tricky descents proceed through the heart of Salzburger Sonnenterrasse. This course is only intended for experienced cross-country skiers.
This romantic trail presents experienced cross-country skiers with a definite challenge. At 6.5 km in length, and 97 metres ascent, it has a fair bit of gradient to cover. The fantastic Hochkönig panorama is the reward for all your efforts.
Start is the fire station in Goldeggweng – The Aubauern trail proceeds in a loop and is suitable as a practice trail for beginners. Link March – Aubauern trail: 1.8 km, 65 m ascent

At the 2006 Olympic Games he won a gold medal for Austria. He now trains in his spare time in Goldegg am See and appreciates the variety-packed trails in Salzburger Sonnenterrasse. Together with his friend Felix Gottwald , even in retirement he can be seen training on the trail network in Goldegg in wonderful Pongau.
