Snow Space Salzburg

Discover one of the largest and most beautiful winter sports areas in the region during your skiing holiday in Pongau. The free ski bus takes you to St. Johann / Alpendorf, the direct entry point to the wide Ski amadé ski swing. In the ski area Snow Space Salzburg you can expect 120 km of perfectly groomed slopes of every level of difficulty, optimally opened by 45 lifts. Freestylers and action fans can really let off steam in the Snowpark Alpendorf, while beginners and families will appreciate the small but fine Hahnbaum ski area in the city centre of St. Johann with its quiet seven kilometres of comfortable pistes.

Raurisertal

With its 32. 5 km of downhill runs, the Raurisertal ski area is somewhat smaller, but by no means to be despised. The winter sports region, which has received several awards in recent years, has similarly high-class transport facilities and relies on its charming down-to-earth location at up to 2,175 m above sea level. Families enjoy the peace and quiet on flat pistes, powder snow skiers plunge into the open terrain and the view of the mountain ranges of the Hohe Tauern National Park is always inspiring. Around the children’s ski schools, fun tobogganing action awaits adventurers of all ages.

Ski swing Großarltal-Dorfgastein

Especially beginners love a detour to the ski swing Großarltal-Dorfgastein during their skiing holiday in Pongau. The 73 kilometres of pistes consist mainly of easy and medium difficulty runs. A special highlight are the early morning excursions: Skiing at sunrise from 7. 15 a. m. up to 2. 027 m above sea level is offered for a maximum of 25 persons by prior arrangement. But there is also a lot going on off-piste: the high-class offer for cross-country skiers knows how to inspire. You will also enjoy direct access to many other great winter sports regions in the wide Gastein Valley.

Zell am See-Kaprun

Take a detour to Zell am See-Kaprun and discover three skiing areas at once during your skiing holiday in the Pongau! The Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area opens its doors in October. At over 3,000 metres above sea level you can expect 100% snow until early summer. In addition to numerous pistes, snow parks and ski touring routes also want to be conquered. The Schmitten offers a successful mixture of comfortable beginner slopes and real challenges for professionals. The view is truly breathtaking. Families feel particularly at home at Maiskogel in Kaprun. 20 kilometres of pistes, accessible via ultra-modern lifts, invite beginners and connoisseurs to take relaxed turns.
